Teaching philosophy

Case-Based Learning

Real decisions made by real people in real contexts. Cases create the conditions for genuine deliberation and the development of practical judgement.

Theory Meets Practice

Rigorous conceptual frameworks are only valuable if they illuminate practice. Every theoretical construct must earn its place by helping students think more clearly about real problems.

Ecosystem Thinking

No venture, policy, or institution operates in isolation. Students learn to map the broader ecosystem — the actors, relationships, and dynamics — that shape any given situation.

Evidence and Argument

Good decisions require good evidence and clear reasoning. Students are trained to distinguish between assertion and argument, and between correlation and causation.
